The Israeli Arms Procurement Cabinet has approved the allocation of a classified budget to accelerate and expand the production of Hetz-3 interceptor missiles.
The Ministry of Defense announced that it will soon sign a new contract with the Aviation Industry concern for the purchase of interceptors produced by it, which will increase the pace of production and increase the reserves of missiles available to the air defense system.
The report emphasizes that defense enterprises are already working to increase production capacity.
The increase in production is carried out in parallel with the production of missiles of a similar type for Germany.
