Before specifying the calculation method which will allow the government, thanks to this decree, if it were applied, to identify possible “surplus margins”: “Beyond a price threshold of 1.71 euros per liter, whether for gasoline or diesel, distributors will not have the possibility of exceeding their average margins observed over the period January-February 2026.”
