At the Women in Law At the event “What women can achieve on supervisory boards”, experts from science and practice discussed ways to achieve more female representation in decision-making positions. “Committees decide on budgets, strategies and careers. Whoever sits there shapes the future of entire organizations. That’s why it’s not a “nice-to-have”, but a necessity for democracy and location policy,” emphasizes Sophie Martinetzfounder of Women in Law.
The focus of the event was how to bring more women to the table. “We see that the same profiles and networks are still used in many committees. Our Women in Committees project comes into play here: We want to provide data and facts, but also develop concrete recommendations,” explains Caroline Weerkamp von Women in Law.
