Phoenix reduces work from home to one day a week

The management of the largest Israeli insurance company, Phoenix, notified employees that it would reduce the days of remote work to one per week, Calcalist reports.

Management, led by CEO Eyal Ben-Simon, decided that due to the easing of martial law, employees should work from the office four days a week. The decision should come into force before July-August – that is, during the summer holidays.

The company’s workers’ committee asked the General Federation of Trade Unions to intervene, insisting that working conditions were deteriorating. At the same time, it should be emphasized that the right to two days of remote work per week is not enshrined in the collective labor agreement.
