Vietlott pays an average salary of 36.5 million VND a month

In a report sent to the Ministry of Finance at the end of June, Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) said the average salary of each employee last year was 438 million VND, while bonuses and other income are expected to be more than 109 million VND. Vietlott representative said that the average salary has been paid, and last year’s bonus will be paid this year.

Total yearly income reached 547 million VND, or about 45.6 million VND per month, and salary alone was about 36.5 million VND. Last year’s total average income was much higher than 32.1 million VND per month in 2024.

Vietlott currently has 200 employees, of which the board of directors consists of 7 people. The company’s chairman receives a salary of 1.38 billion VND and a bonus of 346 million VND. The general director and deputy staff are paid a total income ranging from 1.4 to 1.7 billion VND.

Vietlott is a state-owned enterprise represented by the Ministry of Finance and 100% owned. Therefore, a worker’s income is calculated according to a formula prescribed by the state, linked to labor productivity and production and business efficiency.

The average income of Vietlott employees improves with increasing business results. Last year, the company collected 9,686 billion VND, equivalent to about 26.5 billion VND per day, 11% higher than the target assigned by the managing unit. Profit after tax increased by 25% over the same period, to 354 billion VND, the highest since its establishment.

This year, Vietlott for the first time set a revenue plan of over 10,000 billion VND since launching its first product in 2016. This plan corresponds to an average daily sales of about 30 billion VND, 9 times higher than 10 years ago.

Vietlott estimates that the phone ticket sales channel will contribute 6,030 billion VND, accounting for more than 55%. About VND 4,760 billion comes from distribution channels via terminals (ticket vending machines), the remaining amount is financial revenue. To achieve the goal, the board of directors listed many important tasks such as adding points of sale, increasing the number of phone reward accounts and researching and expanding business areas.

In addition to financial targets, Vietlott also plans to pay taxes and state budget of nearly 2,580 billion VND. The local budget enjoys all revenue from the company’s computer lottery business (nearly 30% of ticket sales revenue, including taxes and after-tax profits).

Vietlott currently has 7 lottery products of your choice. After 10 years of business, the company said it has paid nearly 31,000 billion VND in bonuses. Among these, 533 customers won billions of Jackpot prizes for the two products Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55.
