Due to work, some Rakevet Israel stations will be closed for the weekend.

The work, which will take place on both weekdays and weekends, will affect tens of thousands of passengers on lines linking Beer Sheva, Lod, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Binyamin, Rehovot, Netanya and Beit Shemesh.

During the work, the Kfar Chabad and Lod Ganei Aviv stations will be closed to passengers. In addition, regular trains between Lod and Tel Aviv will not operate.

Instead, a special train will be launched between the Lod and Tel Aviv – Savidor Merkaz stations without intermediate stops. Trains will depart once an hour in each direction.

Rakevet Israel will also organize free buses for passengers and strengthen regular bus routes.
