Exchange electricity is really cheap on Thursday – Now you can heat up the sauna

The average hourly price of exchange electricity for consumers (incl. VAT 25.5 percent) will remain very low on Thursday. The highest price of the day is 1.9 cents per kilowatt hour in the morning at 8 am and 9 am. At its lowest, electricity costs 0.3 cents per kilowatt hour at night at 11 pm.

The hourly prices stated in the article are averages calculated from the four quarter-hour prices for each hour. The electricity exchange Nord Pool switched to 15-minute pricing from the beginning of October 2025.

Such low prices occur about half the time. The price level is well below the typical hourly price of around four cents and also well below the average price, which is around seven to eight cents.

The price of electricity was also low on Wednesday. Afternoon prices remain at the level of less than two cents.
