Four 28-year-old Israelis sold their startup for millions of shekels

Four 28-year-old Israeli entrepreneurs sold their startup, Vizby, to Swap Commerce. According to Ice, the transaction amount is several million shekels, but the exact cost of the acquisition is not disclosed.

The peculiarity of the deal is that the startup was created without attracting external investment, and only seven months passed from the founding of the company to its sale.

Vizby was founded by Eilon Tzfania, Yoni Cohen, Aviv Yovel and Michal Elyasaf. They have developed an artificial intelligence-based platform designed for online stores operating through Shopify. The system analyzes how products and brands are represented in the recommendations of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and other AI services, and helps increase their visibility to potential buyers.

The buyer was Swap Commerce, a company that develops technological solutions for e-commerce. The Israeli startup’s technology is integrated into its platform called Swap Discovery. It allows you not only to analyze AI recommendations, but also to automatically adjust product descriptions, data structure and other elements of the online store to increase the likelihood of products appearing in chatbot responses.

“We founded Vizby because brands saw themselves being invisible to AI and didn’t know how to fix it,” said company co-founder Eilon Tzfania. According to him, the merger with Swap Commerce will make it possible to use the developed technology at all stages of interaction with the buyer – from searching for a product to placing an order and delivery.
