The Post of Serbia is ready for wider cooperation with a larger number of insurance companies because it has developed capacities for performing insurance representation work, the acting director of that company, Zoran Djordjević, said today.
He told the “Serbian Days of Insurance” conference that the Post of Serbia directly and indirectly influences the growth of the insurance market, while responsibly protecting assets and employees from various risks to which they are exposed.
As he stated, since the middle of 2017, the Post Office has been performing insurance representation for the company Dunav osiguranje, which enables users to conclude a contract on travel health insurance, combined household insurance, roadside assistance or car accident insurance at the counters of authorized post offices, or to provide green card.
“We started with the sale of mass policies, but we are also ready to introduce other types of policies, along with expanding the sales network of authorized post offices throughout the country and constant education and increasing the number of executors licensed for the work of insurance representatives.
He added that the next plans of the Post of Serbia are related to the upgrade of mobile applications for iOS and Android, which enable the expanded set of functionalities and services that we provide on
counters will be available to citizens in a digital environment.
“It is up to the insurers to come up with an even better offer and promotion of the opportunities and benefits that effective insurance services bring, and it is up to us as a partner to make available a developed network of branches, providing quality and professional service – from full information to the final realization, in full automated, fast and simple procedure. Also,
as private and business users, we are willing to take advantage of all the benefits of the developed insurance system”, said Đorđević.
The latest trends in the insurance sector will be presented at the largest regional meeting in the field of insurance “Serbian Insurance Days 2022” in Zalatibor, which lasts until November 18.
At that meeting, the most important topics that affect the daily operations of insurance companies will be discussed, among which is inflation at the world level, as the next big challenge for
the insurance sector after the coronavirus pandemic.
