Competition Authority; Erikli Su announced that an investigation was opened against Pınar Su and Buzdağı Su.
The Competition Authority announced that an investigation was opened against Erikli Su ve Meşrubat Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, Pınar Su ve İçecek Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ and Susa Gıda Maddeleri Pazarlama Ticaret AŞ (Buzdağı Su).
The statements made by the Competition Authority are as follows:
“An investigation was opened by the Competition Board against Erikli Su ve Meşrubat Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ and Pınar Su ve İçecek Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ. The findings obtained in the preliminary investigation carried out by jointly determining the product prices of the producer/supplier enterprises operating in the packaged water sector were approved by the Board on 21.09.2023. It was discussed at the meeting and it was decided to open an investigation against the mentioned enterprises to determine whether they violated Article 4 of Law No. 4054.
An investigation was opened by the Competition Board against Susa Gıda Maddeleri Pazarlama Ticaret AŞ (Buzdağı Su). The findings obtained in the preliminary investigation carried out against the allegation that the producer/supplier undertakings operating in the packaged water sector violated Article 4 of Law No. 4054 by jointly determining product prices were discussed at the Board’s meeting dated 21.09.2023. “It has been decided to open an investigation against the mentioned enterprises in order to determine whether they did anything.”
