Deputy Minister in the Ministry of the Prime Minister Avi Maoz proposed to allocate the budget of the Office of Jewish Identity in the amount of 285 million shekels to military needs and to help evacuees.
The Director General of the Prime Minister’s Ministry, Yossi Sheli, accepted Maoz’s proposal. The management staff will be part of the staff of the ministry of the head of government.
Let us recall that earlier the government approved the decision to abolish the Ministry of Information, headed by Galit Distal-Atbarian, who resigned, and directed the ministry’s budget in the amount of 23.8 million shekels to help evacuees, and the staff of the ministry became part of the Tkuma department (” Revival”), which is entrusted with the restoration of destroyed villages and kibbutzim.
