Rapala's global management team is being renewed – Deputy CEO retires

Stanislas de Castelnau will retire at the end of March and leave the position of the company’s vice president in the global management team.

Fishing equipment company Rapala says the vice president who worked in the group’s global management team Stanislas of Castelnaun to retire.

Castelnau’s duties will be transferred to a member of the management team Tuomas Akkanen with responsibility for supply chains and winter sports, and for the operational director Jean-Philippe Nicolelle.

Castelnau started working for the group in 2001 as the manager of the French hook factory and has since managed Rapala’s global operations for the last eight years.

“I would like to thank Stanislas de Castelnaut for his strong contribution as head of the group’s hook business and as the group’s operations developer during his very successful career with Rapala VMC”, says the CEO Lars Ollberg in the company’s announcement.
