11 lots of Andreu brand cup chocolate are recalled for having milk proteins not detailed on the labeling

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) is verifying the withdrawal from the market of 11 lots of Andreu brand hot chocolate for containing milk proteins not included in the labeling that may affect allergic people.

The initial distribution has been detected in the Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha and Aragón, although it cannot be ruled out that there may be redistributions to other autonomous communities, as reported by Aesan.

Specifically, it is about the product ‘Family cup chocolate’ from the Andreu brand, presented in a blister of 5 units of 50 grams each, at room temperature and with barcode: 8428497100034.

As a precautionary measure, people allergic to milk proteins who may have the product are recommended to refrain from consuming it while its consumption does not entail any risk for the rest of the population.
