“Tadweer” and “Livedian” cooperate to decarbonize waste

The Tadweer Group and the British climate company Levidian have cooperated in international projects related to removing carbon from waste. The group is working on developing a pilot project, the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi, which is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.

The two parties seek to accelerate the removal of carbon from landfill sites around the world, through the use of “LOOP” technology from “Levidian”, through which they can produce millions of tons of clean hydrogen, and carbon-negative graphene, which can be used as a high-quality additive. Quality, to increase and improve the performance of a wide range of materials, such as concrete, batteries and plastics.

The mobile system will be used as part of the joint project between the two parties, to complete more carbon removal projects in the United Arab Emirates and abroad, with the aim of providing this technology as a solution that can be upgraded and developed to solve the problem of methane waste in the world.
