European traders said: The Jordanian government company for grain purchasing purchased about 110,000 tons of barley animal feed in an international tender on Wednesday.
About 50,000 tons were purchased from the “Ameropa” trading company at a cost of $216 per ton, including the cost of shipping, for delivery in the first half of August.
Another 60,000 tons were purchased from Nest Wise at a price of $216 per ton, including shipping costs, for delivery in the second half of July.
The reports reflect dealer assessments, and further estimates of prices and volumes may still be issued at a later date.
