28 national pavilions at the hotel exhibition during June in Dubai

DMG Events, the international events and exhibitions organizing company, revealed that the 2024 Hotel Expo will be held between June 4 and 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with 28 countries confirmed to participate in the exhibition through their national pavilions.
This year’s exhibition witnesses the largest participation in its history spanning more than twenty years, as it includes national pavilions from all over the world, led by Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Turkey and the UAE, in addition to Poland, which is participating in the exhibition for the first time.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, four conferences will be held that will create a qualitative shift in the sector, and its focus revolves around the importance of technology, sustainability and wellness in developing guest experiences.

An industry survey conducted for the Hotel Expo’s latest report showed that 81% of hotel owners indicate that technology plays a vital role in business success over the next five years, and 73% of guests prefer hotels that provide self-service technology to reduce contact with staff and other guests.
The report also stated that 73% of guests participating in the survey are currently planning vacations that revolve around improving their physical and mental health, indicating an expected compound annual growth rate of 12.42% in the global wellness tourism market until 2030.
More than 100 experts in the hospitality sector will take an in-depth review of the trends prevailing in it during the four conferences held on the sidelines of the exhibition, which are the Hospitality Leaders and Food and Beverage Stakeholders Forum, the HITEC Dubai Conference, the Professional Housekeeping Staff Meeting, and the Annual Hospitality Engineers Conference in the East Region. The 2024 Hotel Show occupies three halls in the Dubai World Trade Center and half the area of ​​the mall’s arena, and expectations indicate the participation of more than 250 exhibitors and the attendance of more than 10,000 visitors. The entertainment exhibition provides an international forum with the participation of many national pavilions, including Germany, Italy, the UAE and Turkey. The current edition of the exhibition focuses on creating a qualitative shift in the health and fitness space through products, design and technology in key sectors, namely gyms, fitness, wellness and spas, in addition to recreation and adventure.
The Leisure & Wellness Conference will feature 16 industry visionaries who will address the evolution of the wellness sector and explore the shift towards wellness-focused travel options in the UAE’s tourism sector.
O’Connell added: “Participants examine the transformation that is affecting travelers’ choices and pushing them to prioritize wellness throughout the year. They also highlight the efforts made by the UAE to consolidate its position as a leading destination for wellness tourism in the world.”
More than 40 exhibitors are participating in the entertainment exhibition, and it is expected to attract more than 1,000 visitors specialized in the sector. The exhibition will be held in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3 in the Dubai World Trade Centre, and coincides with the Hotel Exhibition, as the two exhibitions occupy an area of ​​17,500 square metres.
