The C Institute is hosting the Global Sustainability Summit this week in Dubai

The summit featured the participation of a group of prominent speakers, most notably Maha Al-Qattan, Chief Sustainability Officer at DP World Group; Gary King, President of I. bad. eFutures in Abu Dhabi; Jack Matthews, President, Matthews Southwest; and Ghanem Al Falasi, Senior Vice President – Technology and Entrepreneurship at Dubai Silicon Oasis.

This summit, which is dedicated to finding solutions, will include international researchers from more than 30 prestigious universities and 12 companies who will present 75 research papers covering a wide range of social, environmental, and economic sustainability topics, such as climate neutrality initiatives, circular economy solutions, and strategies for building resilient cities and communities.

In addition to scientific discussions and academic dialogues, the summit organized a 5-day training camp focusing on nurturing emerging and promising companies in the field of sustainability. Successful startups in the training program will have the opportunity to join the “Bidayat” business incubator program, where these pioneers will benefit from testing these solutions in the heart of the living laboratory of the sustainable city in Dubai, in addition to the opportunity for direct access and communication with investors and eligibility for early grants to stimulate their growth and increase their influence and presence.
