The Sharjah Chamber opens a new headquarters for the “Trade 101” Center in Khor Fakkan

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the opening of a new headquarters for the Small and Medium Enterprises Center “Trade 101” in the city of Khor Fakkan, as part of its keenness to expand the initiative that it launched to support and develop entrepreneurs’ projects in all cities and regions of Sharjah, and to motivate them to engage in commercial and economic business, and to activate their role in the journey. The economic development witnessed by the emirate, in addition to enhancing Emiratisation efforts and creating job opportunities for citizens in the private sector.

The center was inaugurated by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Head of the Human Resources Department, Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khor Fakkan, and Walid Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Chamber, Sultan Yacoub Al Mansouri, Director of the Emiri Diwan in the city of Khor Fakkan, a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber, Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, and Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of the Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber. Khalil Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of Expo Center Khor Fakkan, and a number of members of the municipal council and directors of local departments and departments in Khor Fakkan.

  • Empowering entrepreneurs

Abdullah Sultan Al Owais stressed that the empowerment achieved for young entrepreneurs and the business community in Sharjah in general comes as an embodiment of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, as His Highness attaches great importance to empowering youth through many initiatives. Including Trade Center 101 for small and medium enterprises, which began as an initiative launched by the Sharjah Chamber in 2019 with the aim of providing an incubating environment that supports the ambitions of entrepreneurs and helps them transform their ideas into successful projects, adding that this initiative has become an integrated environment for training, motivating and serving future businessmen and positioning them on the path to success. The right path since their first steps in the world of trade and business.

  • Support the business environment

For his part, Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadhi expressed his confidence that the new headquarters will contribute to supporting the business environment in Khor Fakkan, noting that the Sharjah Chamber was keen to launch exceptional programs to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs and expand their horizons and support the distinguished among them with all capabilities and enable them to achieve their aspirations, praising the interest of the members. To the Small and Medium Enterprises Center and their keenness to benefit from the services of the new branch, to add their successes to those who previously benefited from the services of the center, whose activities are consistent with the goals of the Sharjah Chamber aimed at integrating young citizens into the map of local trade, and doubling their contribution to the national gross product.
