Helen increases the price of exchange electricity contracts | Trade magazine

The company justifies the price increases with the increase in balance electricity costs and operational costs.

Energy company Helen says that it will raise the price of its exchange electricity contracts.

Published by the company bulletin as of June 1, the basic fee for exchange electricity contracts will be increased by 0.97 euros per month, while the previous price is 3.93 euros per month.

The margin will be increased by 0.1 c/kWh. This means an increase in the margin from the previous level of 0.38 c/kWh to a new level of 0.48 c/kWh. The multiplied prices include value added tax.

According to the company, the reason for the margin increase is especially the increase in balance electricity costs. The increase in the basic fee is explained by the increase in operational costs, such as inflation and the increase in salary expenses.

According to calculations made public by Helen, the changes will increase the electricity bill of a typical apartment building resident by approximately 1.14 euros per month.

The electricity bill of a typical resident of a single-family house with electric heating will rise correspondingly by around 2.47 euros per month due to the price increases.

According to Helen, the published calculations have taken into account the cost estimates of changes in the basic payment and margin without the effect of the electricity exchange prices.
