Hayan Abdul Ghani, Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Iraqi Minister of Oil, discussed with the delegation of the Russian Gazprom company, which included the CEO and a number of officials, and in the presence of the Russian ambassador to Iraq, the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
A statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Khaleej, stated that “Abdul Ghani received a delegation from the Russian Gazprom Company, which included the CEO and a number of officials, and in the presence of the Russian ambassador to Iraq.”
The statement added, “During the meeting, prospects for bilateral cooperation and enhancing opportunities for joint projects in the oil and energy sector were discussed.”
