Launching the “Stopover in Abu Dhabi” program during the Arabian Travel Market

Etihad Airways and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi launched the “Stopover in Abu Dhabi” program during their participation in the Arabian Travel Market.

Saleh Al Jaziri, Director General of Tourism at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Antonualdo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, signed a memorandum of understanding that defines the frameworks of cooperation between the two sides in this initiative.

Etihad Airways’ “Stopover in Abu Dhabi” program provides guests traveling via Abu Dhabi with the opportunity to turn their stopover period and free hotel stay into an unforgettable vacation. The capital of the UAE is an ideal stopping destination due to its world-class hotels, beautiful beaches, upscale restaurants and other wonderful entertainment activities.

When booking flights with Etihad Airways, guests will have the option to add a stopover in Abu Dhabi, and choose a free hotel as part of the booking process through the company’s website. You can choose a free hotel stay for one or two nights from a group of leading hotels across the city. Stopover program packages in Abu Dhabi are only available when booking directly on the Etihad Airways website.
