Fall Dhofar 2024 kicks off from the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

The Municipality of Dhofar revealed its preparations for the launch of the Dhofar Fall 2024 activities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in the Sultanate of Oman, noting that the Dhofar Fall 2023 recorded an increase in the number of visitors to 962 thousand visitors, compared to 813 thousand visitors in 2022, and it expected that visitors for this year’s season will exceed the barrier. One million visitors.

Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al-Ghassani, Mayor of Dhofar, said during a press conference today, within the activities of the Omani Ministry of Heritage and Tourism pavilion participating in the Arabian Travel Market 2024 exhibition in Dubai: “This year’s activities will start early in several existing sites and new ones for the fall season, which begins on June 21.” It ends on September 20 for a period of three months, which is double the period previously allocated to fall season events, with the aim of attracting a larger number of tourists during that period.”

He pointed out the launch of the “Atin Square” website as part of the activities of the pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market, pointing out that the activities will include many events in addition to Omani and Arab artistic concerts, which will be carried out at the Al Murooj Theater and other locations. As for the games area in Atin Square, this year will include a field for the sports challenge. .

He said that the “Return of the Past” activities will be held in the Al-Saada area after updating its activities to include simulating the local environments in the Dhofar Governorate, with the addition of new environments from some governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, and live performances and arts that embody the Omani culture, in addition to organizing the “Dhofar International Theater Festival,” for the first time. Within the framework of encouraging the competent authorities in the Sultanate of Oman to participate.
