The performance of stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was mixed on Wednesday.
The Abu Dhabi market index fell 0.396% to 8,972.99 points. The Dubai market index fell 0.425% to 4,057.87 points.
In Saudi Arabia, the main market index “TASI” rose 0.28% to 12,157.03 points, through the trading of 214.94 million shares worth 5.30 billion riyals.
In Kuwait, the general market index rose 0.06% to 7,142.74 points, through the trading of 359.91 million shares, worth 51.59 million dinars.
The Bahrain General Index rose 0.08% to 2,015.68 points, through the trading of 1.61 million shares, with a value of 625.24 thousand dinars.
The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell 0.09% to 9,707 points, and the market trading volume reached approximately 524 million riyals.
In the Sultanate of Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange index rose 0.59% to 4,807,197 points, through 17.78 million shares worth 2.78 million riyals.
Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange index “EGX 30” rose 0.01% to 27,227.44 points.
