ODENSE (Ekstra Bladet): The court was again set on Wednesday at the Court in Odense, where today a verdict was handed down in the case against reality star Teitur Skoubo.
He was accused of raping a young woman on the night of November 28 last year in the woman’s apartment.
In court, explanations were heard from two witnesses who were present in the apartment but who were in an adjoining room. It was a friend of the aggrieved woman and a friend of Teitur Skoubo, who is also known from reality TV.
The judge ruled that Teitur Skoubo should be sentenced to two years and six months in prison in the case. In addition, Teitur Skoubo must pay the costs.
Even Teitur Skoubo has pleaded not guilty.
Rejects Teitur’s explanation
The judge explained in court that it has been emphasized that in the forensic pathologist’s explanation there is no indication that a slap has been given, as Teitur has otherwise maintained. The injuries to the injured have not indicated this.
– When you hit, push, hold and penetrate, there is direct intent to rape, the judge said.
In addition, it has been emphasized that the injured party has given an explanation to the police the same evening and therefore has not been able to piece together an explanation.
Teitur’s prosecutors explain that they are appealing the verdict.
The prosecutor has filed a claim that Teitur should be remanded in custody. He emphasizes that Teitur lives in Spain and therefore could decide to leave the country.
