Benny Blanco confesses: “I almost stabbed my friend to death”

In the latest episode of his podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, music producer and partner of Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco shared one of the scariest moments of his life – the time he almost stabbed his friend to death.

“You know I almost stabbed my friend to death?” Blanco asked his podcast partners, rapper Lil Dicky and his wife Christine Bataloco. The producer recalled how he woke up to a strange noise in the house and immediately tiptoed into the kitchen to arm himself with a knife: “I crouched low behind the furniture and planned to stab upwards as soon as the burglar appeared.”

But then came the twist: the “burglar” turned out to be one of Blanco’s friends who was staying at the house. It turns out that the friend also heard noises, panicked himself and acted exactly as Blanco did – ran to the kitchen to arm himself with a knife. “It was a 50/50 chance that I would stab him.” The two caught each other in the 90th minute and prevented a major disaster.
