Actor Russell Crowe showed off to his fans in Paris

Crowe was leaving his hotel when fans approached him asking for selfies and autographs.

“Are you listening?” he asked the fans.

“Stay where you are, don’t the hell push me, I’m coming to you. Give everyone space. If anyone acts like an asshole, I’m leaving. Got it? Okay?”

Crowe started autographing fans’ Gladiator collectibles after that.

However, he refused a fan’s request to add the name Maximus, which is the name of Crowe’s character, to the autograph by Ridley Scott in a film directed by

Someone who was there captured the event on video. Entertainment publication TMZ published the video on its pages as well as in X with a caption suggesting that fans are not Crowe’s number one priority.

The video divided opinion on X. Some thought Crowe was rude and ungrateful, while others defended his right to set boundaries for himself.

“Click fishing. Everyone got autographs and selfies, guests were free to enter the hotel, and yet I made it to the airport on time. One man, no security. Taken care of. What’s your problem?”, Crowe responded to TMZ’s publication.

Crowen a reputation as a difficult star has followed him throughout his Hollywood career.

Supervisor Kevin Macdonald on toldthat Crowe’s behavior State of Play -film in 2009 scared the studio representatives so much that they didn’t want to come to the set at all.

However, the headlines about Crowe’s awkwardness have decreased in recent years.

The actor said for GQ magazine in 2024 that he will regret many things.
