Romer Willis’ ex accuses: used their daughter for an advertisement with “sexual humor”

After Romer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, accused her ex-partner Derek Richard Thomas of emotional abuse and inappropriate behavior, their legal battle over custody of their 3-year-old daughter Luetta continues to escalate. Thomas, as People magazine now reports, claims that Willis is exploiting their daughter for commercial purposes and even included her in a paid advertisement that included, according to him, “sexual humor for adults.”

According to court documents, the 30-year-old musician denies the allegations against him of abuse and accuses Willis of conducting a “coordinated media strategy” that harms their young daughter. According to him, as early as last February, she was sent a written objection to Luetta’s appearance in paid advertisements, following a campaign that he claimed contained inappropriate content for the girl, who was two years old at the time.

The allegations come after Willis, 37, sought full custody of their daughter and accused Thomas of an ongoing pattern of emotional abuse; In the documents she submitted, she claimed that during the relationship, and also after the separation in 2024, he used to verbally attack her for long hours, sometimes in front of the girl or while they were traveling together in the car. According to her, his behavior became more extreme after the birth of their daughter in April 2023.

Willis claimed that she had to “walk on eggs” around him, that he tried to isolate her from friends and family and that he used to accuse her of lying for no reason. In addition, his conduct also affected Louetta, who according to her suffers from trauma and often cries. Because of this, she requested that he not receive sleepovers with the girl before a professional custody evaluation by the court is completed. But Willis also made a series of other claims.

Among other things, the daughter of the former couple of actors claimed that Thomas regularly used marijuana, that he was once under the influence until he was unable to watch over their daughter for long minutes, during which he allegedly allowed her to fall out of bed, in November 2023. In addition, she claimed that she asked him not to bathe with Luetta naked, because according to her, this is “very inappropriate” behavior on his part, to shower with her “naked at her age”, as was alleged against him.

The two have been together since 2022, and in December of that year confirmed that they are expecting their first baby together. The separation was approved by Willis in August 2024 and since then Thomas had time to get engaged to his new partner Lizzie Loch. Romer is reportedly still single.
