Angèle announces the title of her new album

After sowing clues in his new song Say it, revealed on the night of June 18 to 19, the Belgian singer appeared in a video published on the networks to reveal the name of her next record.

Five years after his album Ninety-five, Angèle announces her return. After two singles with pop and electro sounds, Angèle has formalized the release of her new album Instinctexpected by the end of 2026.

Monday June 22, the Belgian singer confirmed the news on Instagram through a short video of a few seconds, featuring an enigmatic chrome ball, where she reveals the title of her album. A few days earlier, she had already planted clues with her fans: the title of the album was hidden in the lyrics of her new song, Say itunveiled on the night of June 18 to 19.

This title, with its assumed electro turn, follows What You Wantfirst single in collaboration with the duo Justice, revealed on February 17. With Say itAngèle surrounds herself with top-notch collaborators. The mixing is provided by the American Geoff Swan, known for his work with Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Ed Sheeran and the singer Miki for her titles It still sucks a bit et PARTICLE. The «mastering»finalization stage of the title, is entrusted to Randy Merrill, multiple winner of the Grammy Awards between 2017 and 2024. Angèle signs the lyrics and the composition, assisted by her faithful collaborator Tristan Salvati, on recording, on drums and keyboards.

The clip, entrusted by (La)Horde, a dance company with which she had already worked on What You Want is directed by the duo Suzie and Léo and produced by Frenzy. The universe takes up the codes of electro with the rave parties, the green neon lights, the chrome statue…

Change of label

At the same time, merchandising dedicated to the single is available on the singer’s official website. It includes a t-shirt for 25 euros, a baby tee for 22 euros, as well as a 33 rpm vinyl of the single with Justice, What You Want.

This new title is also part of a period of transition for the singer. After roll et Ninety-fivedistributed by Universal Music France, it had already initiated a turning point with What You Wantreleased by Because, the label of the Justice duo. According to Billboard Franceshe now joins Sony Music.
