The International Euro-Mediterranean Excellence Award, now in its fourth edition, is preparing to pay homage to one of the most representative figures of Italian culture and entertainment: Lina Sastri, an artist of extraordinary talent and protagonist of a career capable of spanning theatre, cinema, television and music. Sastri will be awarded the Euro-Mediterranean Excellence Award during the ceremony scheduled in Rome in October, in an institutional venue in the capital, whose location and further details of the event will be announced soon.

Actress, singer and performer of great intensity, Lina Sastri represents an example of authentic art and extraordinary expressive ability. His path, deeply linked to Italian culture and Neapolitan tradition, has been able to overcome geographical and generational boundaries over time, gaining audiences and recognition even beyond national borders. The Award aims to enhance precisely this international dimension of her activity: a 360-degree artist, capable of uniting words, music, theater and cinema and transforming her artistic experience into a universal language.

The recognition to Lina Sastri is part of the path of the International Euro-Mediterranean Excellence Award, promoted by the Mediterranean Journalists Association, which valorises personalities from the world of information, culture, sport, arts and institutions who, through their commitment and activity, contribute to promoting dialogue, knowledge, cooperation and common values ​​between the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.

The initiative takes place under the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Culture and the Single Guarantee Committee (Cug). Among the organizations that collaborate and support the initiative are also Ussi – Italian Sports Press Union and Aips Europe – International Sports Press Association Europe, demonstrating the link between information, sport, culture and the international dimension. The October ceremony will bring together representatives from the world of journalism, culture, entertainment, sport, institutions and diplomacy in Rome.

The prestigious institutional venue that will host the event, together with the other details of the event and the names of the protagonists who will receive the recognition, will be announced soon. With the recognition of Lina Sastri, the fourth edition of the International Euro-Mediterranean Excellence Award confirms its mission: to celebrate talent and excellence, but above all the personalities capable of transforming their work into a bridge between cultures, countries and generations.
