Scavuzzo (Municipality of Milan): “Responsible for generating value in what we do”

“The circularity of a path that has seen children’s ideas return to children has given rise to a challenge: to get adults to talk to children. The union between a cultural project and a solidarity dimension increases its value, ensuring that an effort, an idea or an initiative goes much further than where it was imagined. We therefore look for solidarity entities, like Soleterre in this case, which allow us to reach other children again, so that nothing is wasted and that the value is multiply. I believe that today, more than ever, generating value in the things we do is a responsibility that we must share.” These are the words of Anna Scavuzzo, Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Milan, at the presentation of the new volume of the ‘Signs and Stories’ series, ‘Strange Animals and other stories’, promoted by the Alimenta l’Amore Ets Association and Coop Lombardia. The book is available in all Coop Lombardia stores from 24 October at a price of 7.50 euros. The proceeds from each single copy will be donated to the Soleterre Foundation to support projects related to pediatric oncology in Italy.
