Archie Cruz clarifies claims about the clash with the Rammstein singer: “It was a wrestling match” – Culture

Rammstein will perform at the sold-out Olympic Stadium for two gigs this weekend.

Finnish musician Archie Cruz disputes the claim that the Rammstein singer Till Lindemann would have hit him in a Finnish bar.

The claim has, among other things, been featured on Radio Rock’s Friday broadcast. There has also been talk about the “beating” of the Finnish musician on vävä.fi and other social media. Now, the relevant comments have already been removed from the bavä.fi website.

Cruz, whose real name is Arttu Kuosmanen, admits that he and Lindemann had a lighter confrontation on Wednesday.

“The question was about a wrestling match. The initiative did not come from my side in any case. Otherwise, I don’t want to comment on the matter,” Kuosmanen told HS.

Was it an argument?

“There was no big beef in it. Then I wouldn’t be going to a gig to see a band. Everything is fine.”

Cruz is known as the singer-guitarist of the band Santa Cruz. He has also appeared on television Survivors Finland in the program.

Rammstein will perform two gigs at the sold-out Olympic Stadium this weekend. The band members arrived in Helsinki already earlier this week, and they have been bonked in several Helsinki bars during the week.

Cruz says that he has a backstage pass for Rammstein’s gig, so another encounter with Lindemann is probably possible.

Rammstein’s representative has not responded to HS’s request for comment.
