Flamenco singer Thais Hernández dies at 35

The Catalan flamenco singer Thais Hernández died this Tuesday in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) at the age of 35, as Europa Press has learned.

Hernández, born in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona), began her musical career at the age of 20 after spending a few years in a Rocío choir, and at the age of 22 she began her career as a backup singer in flamenco and Catalan rumba albums.

He has worked with flamenco and rumba musicians and dancers such as Juan Gómez ‘Chicuelo’, Sabor de Gracia, Juan de Juan, Inés Bubio, Susana Escoda, Antonio el Toleo and Antonio ‘Ñoño’, among others, and appeared in the documentary ‘Petitet ‘by Carles Bosch.
