Muhammad Abdo: I saw a picture of my father for the first time after 70 years

Saudi artist Muhammad Abdo revealed that he had wished for 70 years to see a picture of his father in order to know his features, which was achieved a few months ago.

Muhammad Abdo explained in a television interview that his father died when he was two years old, and at that time it was not permissible to leave pictures of the deceased, so his mother removed a picture of his father that was hanging on the wall.

Abdo added that he had forgotten his father’s features because he had not seen him much, and he was hoping to see him, and suddenly a person visited him carrying a picture of his father that was on his travel document.

He revealed that a person was looking for a picture belonging to his father, and went to a shipping company where he worked, and there he found it and next to it another with a phrase written on it referring to Muhammad Abdo’s father.

Muhammad Abdo continued that the owner of the company told the man that the photo belonged to the singer’s father and asked him to visit him and give it to him, which was true.

He said: “He asked me if we needed to make sure that the person in the picture was my father, but I immediately remembered his features in the picture that was hanging in our house before his death, and I was certain that he was my father.”

Mohamed Abdo’s eyes filled with tears as he recalled the incident, stressing that for 70 years he had been wishing to see a picture of his father. Then someone brought him a high-quality picture that was well preserved. He gave it to his children to copy on the computer, and he liked it very much.
