Pictogramma evolves into a digital platform for new creative connections

The Pictogramma project – a space designed to share projects, resources and experiences from the Italian graphics scene – evolves into Pictogramma 2.0, an initiative which, through the new website just launched, aims to be an entirely digital reference place, designed to be useful to its visitors. After two paper editions which were highly successful and even mentioned in several national and international blogs – the second of which was awarded by the Type Directors Club of New York – the project (non-profit, with all proceeds and support intended to cover development costs) evolves with some changes that led Fabio Mario Rizzotti (founder) and Simone Bertini, together with the support of Sibilla Villani, to imagine a version that can be used more easily and is capable of connecting even more realities and people .

“Despite the complex working context, the new generations demonstrate great passion, bringing important stylistic innovations and an approach to the discipline that deserves attention and visibility – states Rizzotti – Pictogramma 2.0 wants to act as a meeting point between different realities in order to create something distinctive . Furthermore, it proposes itself as a promoter of new connections and synergies”. The platform aims to be a useful tool for the young graphic designer, not only promoting their projects but also allowing a flow of information, advice and insights into the profession of the graphic designer.
