“Poet of a Million” celebrates the light carrier “11”

Among the dialogues that filled the pages of the magazine, we find a dialogue with Muhammad Al-Madawi Al-Wadaei in which he discussed his poetic career from the beginning, until he was crowned with the title, and a dialogue with the fifth place winner, Salah bin Dahi Al-Harbi, who talked about the factors that contributed to refining his talent, until he reached the podium, The issue also included interviews with poets: Hudhayfah Al-Hathalin, Ahmed Khalifa Al-Busaidi, and Ibrahim Abu Fayed Al-Sawarka.

In the polls, we learn the opinion of the jury and the “Million Poet” Advisory Committee about the eleventh season, what distinguished it, and the level of poets participating in it. We also read a poll about how the poetry audience views the eleventh season, and its social and literary impact, and in a third poll we read Opinions of poets who previously appeared in “Poet of a Million” about the possibility of repeating the initiative and participating again in the program.

In the “Poet’s Library” section, we find an expanded presentation of the book “The Collection of Emirati Poets in Poet of a Million from Seasons One to Five,” issued by the Academy of Poetry, which documents the journey of Emirati poets in competing for the title of “Poet of a Million” in the first seasons of the program, and reflects Their distinguished poetic experiences.

In the articles of the issue book, Khaled Al-Waghlani gave a reading of the poem “My Trump Card” by Hassan Shihab Al-Din, and Nevin Aziz Tineh discussed “The symbolism of the bat among the Arabs from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries,” and Kholoud Bennaser’s article was about “Poorness in Pre-Islamic Arabic Poetry.” Abdullah Abu Bakr shed light on the poet Iyad Al-Hakami, and Turki Al-Muraikhi spoke about the experience of the poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen.
