Cinema, success for the second day of the Film Enterprise Award

After last night’s debut, which culminated with Gloria Satta and Mario Sesti in conversation with Gabriele Salvatores, who received the Special Film Enterprise Award from the president of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma Gian Luca Farinelli, the second edition of the Film Impresa Prize experienced its second stage today at the Casa del Cinema in Rome. The initiative, conceived and created by Unindustria with the support of Confindustria aims to enhance, enhance and communicate the values ​​of companies and those who work there through the different languages ​​of cinema that companies increasingly create to tell their story, their product, the work of the people, the relationship with the territory .

The day was inaugurated by the special event ‘Streaming, web, series: the adventure continues. This was followed by the event “Corti di Rai Teche – There was still tomorrow | Flash. Si dice donna” by Tilde Capomazza, 1977 and, subsequently, the screenings of the competing works continued, in which the authors and representatives of the competing companies also participated. The screenings concerned the category ‘Area II&S: Innovation, Image & Sound – curated by Almaviva. Rhythm, light, perception’. At the end of the second day of the Film Enterprise Award, the ‘Pfi Focus – Innovation, care, training: the Bio-Medical Campus event took place. Deep roots and a look to the future – Thirtieth anniversary’ with the screening of ‘Campus Stories’ by Andrea Pellizzer produced by the Campus Bio-Medico association of Rome, after which a conversation will take place with Carlo Tosti, president of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico, Giampaolo Letta, Mario Sesti and with the women and men protagonists of the documentary.

‘A coffee with the Region’ is the novelty that will open the third and final day of this second edition: a meeting with the experts from Lazio Innova who will offer personalized advice on the ‘preseed’, ‘basket bond’ and ‘new small fund’ tenders credit’, as well as exploring financing opportunities and answering any relevant questions. Arturo Ricci and Pina Maiorano, both from Lazio Innova, will speak for the occasion. The first screenings of the day will involve the 10 videos made as part of the ‘From business to screen’ competition. Video stories and stories in short form’, created by Unindustria and Confindustria with its Historical Archive for La Sapienza University of Rome. Challenges, experiences, territories’, which will be interspersed with a preview dedicated to the press thanks to which it will be possible to view two unpublished specials: ‘The hero and the myth’ by Ermanno Olmi and “MADE Made in Italy. Made with Bravery featuring Renzo Rosso – Ep. 8 by Francesco di Giorgio”, a Frame by Frame production for OTB.

Subsequently, the talk ‘The open doors of an inclusive and sustainable city, the great events that change the face of cities’ will take place with the vision of ‘Cinema and the Jubilee Year’, followed by a conversation with the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri together with Angelo Camilli, Giampaolo Letta and Mario Sesti.

The unreleased out-of-competition film ‘The Hero and the Myth’ by Ermanno Olmi, produced by the Dainese company and starring Valentino Rossi, will then also be screened for the public present at the event and will be followed by speeches by Guido Meda, Elisabetta Olmi , Giampaolo Letta and Mario Sesti. To close the second edition of the Film Enterprise Award there will then be the highly anticipated awards ceremony inaugurated by the viewing of the video essay ‘Throwing the spectator at the actors: Francesca’s eye’, in memory of the maestro Ermanno Olmi and followed by a conversation with Francesca Archibugi together with Mario Sesti and Francesca Magliulo, director of the Eos Edison Orizzonte Sociale Ets Foundation.

An exceptional jury of honor, chaired by the Oscar-winning director Gabriele Salvatores, will award a prize to the competing works in each of the following categories: Best Human Enterprise Film – Narrative Area – Writing, imagery, staging; Best Corporate Film UniCredit – Documentary Area – History, testimonies, facts and Paths, testimonies, facts; Best Film Almaviva – Area II&S: Innovative, Image & Sound – Rhythm, light, perception.

The director and screenwriter Francesca Archibugi will receive the Olmi Prize, promoted by the Eos – Edison Orizzonte Sociale ETS Foundation, the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Special Prize will be awarded to the singer and record producer Caterina Caselli, who will also participate in a conversation with Mario Sesti on the sidelines of the viewing of the video essay “Caterina Caselli: art and enterprise of a golden girl”. The Film Impresa-Unindustria Special Prize for creativity will be awarded to the entrepreneur Renzo Rosso, who at the end of the third day will be the protagonist of a conversation with Giampaolo Letta. The Film Enterprise Award is sponsored by Roma Capitale, the Rome Chamber of Commerce and Rai Teche, in collaboration with Confindustria and the Lazio Region, ANICA, UNA and Casa del Cinema of Rome.
