Billie Eilish announced her world tour, the nearest concert is in Stockholm – Kulttuuri

Billie Eilish will perform concerts in Sweden next year, among others.

Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish will be touring in Europe and the Nordic countries next year.

The American artist announced on Monday his world tourwhich starts in September in Canada and ends next summer in Europe.

Eilish’s upcoming album Hit Me Hard and Softin the named tour also extends to the Nordic countries, but not to Finland. The European part of the tour starts in Sweden, where Eilish will give concerts on two consecutive days in April next year.

The Swedish concerts take place at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena, also known by its former name Globen. After Stockholm, Eilish continues to Oslo and Copenhagen.

Concert tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 3. Eilish’s new album will be released on May 17th.

Although Eilish hasn’t released a new album in almost three years, she enjoyed huge success last year Barbiewith his movie soundtrack song What Was I Made For?. The ballad was awarded, among other things, the Oscar for best song and the Grammy award for song of the year.

Eilish, who grew up in California, made her breakthrough with her song Ocean Eyes in 2015 when he was only 14 years old.

Since then, Eilish’s career has been on the upswing: at her first Grammy gala in 2020, Eilish took home five awards, including the album of the year award for her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.
