61-year-old Steve Albini had a heart attack in his studio.

American producer-musician Steve Albini is dead. He was 61 years old when he died.

The matter was reported by several foreign media, such as a music website Pitchfork and a British magazine The Guardian.

Albini had a heart attack in his studio, reports Pitchfork.

Albini made his life’s work in alternative rock. For example, he produced Nirvana’s last single In Utero -studio album (1993). Albini’s resume is long: he worked with Pixies, PJ Harvey and The Breeders in his career.
