Ice hockey: After three wins in a row: Oilers and Draisaitl lose

German ice hockey top star Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers suffered another defeat in the NHL after three wins in a row. The Canadians lost 0-1 to the Vegas Golden Knights. This means that Draisaitl from Cologne remains at 17 goals and 15 assists in the current season. Despite the defeat, Edmonton is still within reach of the playoff places.

The Buffalo Sabers suffered a particularly bitter defeat with German striker John-Jason Peterka. In the home game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Sabers were already leading 4-0 after the first third, but then collapsed and lost 4-5 after the visitors caught up. Peterka scored the goal to make it 3-0, it was his eighth goal of the season.

Defeat for Seider – Sturm can celebrate

Boston remains at 24 points – level with the Detroit Red Wings around Moritz Seider. The German defender failed to score in his team’s away game against the Boston Bruins, while Detroit lost 2-3 after extra time.

Meanwhile, the San Jose Sharks celebrated their tenth win of the season with striker Nico Sturm, who was unable to contribute to a goal in the 2-1 win at the Washington Capitals.
