Christian Nørgaard and Kasper Dolberg have left the national team camp with injuries prior to the last two matches

There is a replacement in Kasper Hjulmand’s squad prior to the matches against Croatia and Austria.

Kasper Dolberg and Christian Nørgaard have left the camp with injuries. Instead, Lecce’s Morten Hjulmand is in the squad, DBU informs.

Kasper Dolberg shrugged his shoulders in the match against France, while Christian Nørgaard trooped up to the camp with a minor injury, and therefore he was not involved against either France or Austria..

Can make his debut
22-year-old Morten Hjulmand can, in turn, make his national team debut for Denmark, as it is the first time that Kasper Hjulmand has selected the midfielder, who despite his name he is not related to.

Morten Hjulmand has played a great season in his Italian club Lecce, where he is listed for 37 appearances in the final season. Lecce won Italy’s second-best row and is ready for Serie A after the summer holidays. He has a past in FCK’s youth system, from which he in 2018 switched to Austrian Admira Wacker.

Denmark meets Croatia in the Park on Friday, while Austria waits once again on Monday. Also a match is played in the Park. Denmark has maximum points in the Nations League after two victories over France and Austria.
