Lana Pudar won gold in the 200 meters dolphin

The swimmer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lana Pudar, is the new European champion in the 200-meter dolphin, as she triumphed in today’s final at the European Championships in Rome. This 16-year-old swimmer from Mostar celebrated with a result of 2:06.81 minutes. Pudar previously won bronze in the 100-meter dolphin at the championship in Rome.

The silver medal was won by the Danish swimmer Helena Rosendal Bach (2:07.30), while the bronze went to the Italian Ilaria Cuzinato (2:07.77).

Lithuanian Ruta Mejlutite won the gold in the 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 29.59 seconds.

The Italian Benedetta Pilato, after the gold in the twice longer section, today had to settle for the silver (29.71), while the bronze went to the British Imogen Clark (30.31).
