Formula 1: Valtteri Bottas was given a rude assessment

Valtteri Bottas’ performance in Japan did not convince.

Valtteri Bottas finished 19th in Japan.

Finnish F1 driver Valtteri Bottas the race in Suzuka, Japan was very difficult. During the race, Bottas did not pass a single driver on the track and remained in 19th place in the race.

Only those who stopped the race remained behind Bottas Oliver Bearman and Lance Stroll mixed Alex Albonwho spent more than a minute in the pit stop at the end of the race.

The Race -formula website made a list ranking the performances of F1 drivers in Suzuka. The list is not a pretty read in Finnish terms.

Bottas’ performance entitles him to 20th place in the list. Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman.

According to the site, the main reason for the poor ranking is how much slower Bottas was compared to his teammate to Sergio Perez.

“Far from Perez’s pace in qualifying and the race,” the site’s editor Edd Straw justifies.

Perez was consistently faster than the Finn throughout the weekend. The Mexican skier received much cleaner papers in the review and ranked seventh in the review.

The first place in the rating was taken by the French driver who finished seventh in Japan Pierre Gasly.

Take it easy known for his style, Bottas has dealt with the difficult early season in his typical way through humor.

As expected, new team Cadillac has spent the early season struggling for top spots. The driver duo of the US team joked in an interview with F1TV about future improvements to the car.

“It’s going to be a really big improvement to the Miami race, isn’t it,” Bottas said.

“Huge,” replied Perez.

“So Mercedes, be on your guard,” Bottas growled towards his former team.

Fortunately, Cadillac has plenty of time to prepare for the next round of the F1 season. The Miami GP will be held at the beginning of May.

Bottas and Perez are both still without points in the World Drivers’ Championship.
