Operário collapses and is eliminated by Fluminense in the Copa do Brasil

Operário leaves the knockout stage after passing through Betim-MG (2nd phase), Capital-DF (3rd phase) and Londrina (4th phase) in the previous knockouts. Fantasma accumulated more than 6.5 million prizes in the tournament. Flu, in turn, debuted in the competition at this stage by playing in Series A and earns R$3 million for qualifying.

Fantasma comes from three defeats (Chapecoense: 2 to 1, in the Copa Sul-Sudeste; CRB: 3 to 0, in Série B; and now Fluminense: 2 to 1, in the Copa do Brasil) and is trying to recover in search of returning to the top positions in the Second Division.
