Aldair at the cinema moves with "Yellow-red heart"

Aldair historic defender of Romais told in the documentary “Aldair. Yellow-Red Heart”on the occasion of his 60 years old. A journey between Italia e Brazil which it traces 13 seasons in the Giallorossi and an indissoluble bond with eternal citynarrated by Claudio Amendola and the testimonies of Totti, Capello and other protagonists of his extraordinary career.

The film directed by Simone Godano was presented to the Barberini Cinema and will arrive in theaters from 21 maggio. Shy off the field, Aldair agreed to bare himself for this project which celebrates his extraordinary career.

“It wasn’t easy because I’m shy off the pitch but they helped me. The secret was finding the right people to have the peace of mind to make this documentary. It was nice because my brothers were also there and they reminded me of things that I didn’t even remember,” said the former defender. “I still have to see the film (laughs) and I’m more excited than when I played in the World Cup final”, he added jokingly.

The derbies and historical opponents

Thirteen years in the Giallorossi also means many Capital derbysome unforgettable. “The best derby was the one with Mazzone of the 3-0. “It’s normal that football has changed, there’s a lot of money going around and not everyone is able to play 18 years at high levels and they try to have good contracts to think about the family”, he added. “The most important thing is to always stay disciplined. When I got to Rio I didn’t know anyone, when I started I didn’t even have shoes. These are things that cannot be explained”, explained Aldair, drawing a bridge between the difficult beginnings in Brazil and the success in Italy.

On the current Giallorossi team, Aldair was optimistic. “This Roma has a good coach. They expected some players who arrived a little late. I think the team is there and it is important that the club has placed its trust in the coach.
