Kyle Busch, the NASCAR star, has died at the age of 41

A future Hall of Fame inductee, Kyle was a rare, once-in-a-generation talent. He was feisty, full of passion and talent, and cared deeply about the sport and its fans.”

ESPN recalls that 11 days ago, towards the end of a Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, Busch had alerted the team doctor via radio asking for an injection to be administered at the end of the race. Busch, at that time, apparently suffered from sinusitis aggravated by the violent accelerations and sudden changes imposed by the New York road circuit.
