Sebastian Haller testicular cancer, chemotherapy

To the striker of Borussia Dortmund Sebastien Haller (28) was diagnosed with a tumor on his testicles a month ago, for which he had to undergo an operation.

Histological findings showed that it was a malignant tumor, so the football player of the German Bundesliga had to undergo chemotherapy.

After a few weeks, they left consequences for him, and the football world was surprised when his photo appeared in the media.

Haller posted a photo on social networks, and soon his friend shared the same to show everyone that he is in good spirits and that he is fighting like a lion against the vicious disease.

Haller has completely shaved his head, and recently told how his loved ones reacted after he told them the sad news.

– The wife was in shock, but she could handle it. However, my mom… it wasn’t the same because mothers are mothers. I called my siblings to make sure they were there for her when I told her and that she wouldn’t be alone at that moment. That really hit her – said Haller.

Namely, Haller felt weak during the preparations, after which he was diagnosed with cancer, so he left the training camp for treatment.

– Sebastien will receive the best possible treatment. The chances of recovery are very good. The recovery should take several months – said then the sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, Sebastien Kehl.

Let us remind you that Haller signed for Borussia this summer after scoring 34 goals in 44 appearances last season, 11 of which were in the Champions League.
