Benfica: “Mourinho to Real Madrid for 15 million if Perez is confirmed as president of the blancos”

Benfica confirmed the interest shown by Real Madrid for the hiring of coach Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese club, in a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission, explained that it had received, in the last few hours, a manifesto of Real Madrid’s “firm intention” to hire José Mourinho, should Florentino Pérez win the elections for the presidency of the Spanish club, in the race against Enrique Riquelme, next Sunday, 7 June. If the current president is re-elected, the Spanish giant will have to pay the coach’s release clause to Benfica, equal to 15 million euros.
