F1: Russell triumphs in Austria, Hamilton is fifth

George Russell completes a practically perfect weekend and wins the Austrian F1 Grand Prixachieving the seventh victory of his career. The Briton from Mercedes, who hadn’t won since the opening race of this season in Australia, preceded the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and his teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, second and third respectively.

The Ferrariafter a good qualifying Saturday, did not go beyond fifth place with Lewis Hamiltonwhich closes behind the McLaren on Oscar Piastri. The other Red of Charles Leclerchowever, slipped to eighth place, preceded by Isack Hadjar (Red Bull) and Lando Norris (McLaren). The two Racing Bulls of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad complete the top 10 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Syria.
