Tennis: Harri Heliövaara continues

A tennis player Harri Heliövaara advanced to the third round together with his British partner Henry Pattenin with in doubles at the Wimbledon tennis tournament. The pair won their match against the American pair Mac Kiger–Patrik Trhac against the set 2–1.

Every set was extremely tight. Heliövaara and Patten won the first set in a tiebreak with games 7–6.

Kiger and Trhac also won the second set in a tiebreak 7–6.

Heliövaara and Patten took the final set in a super tiebreak 7–6.

Match there was a passing party. Not a single pass break was seen. Heliövaara and Patten had seven breaking balls, but they went unused.

The culmination point of the match was Mac Kiger’s serve at the end of the super tiebreak. He was with Trhac on his way to victory. All Kiger had to do was hold his serve.

Yankki melted in an ugly way in the Wimbledon sun. He double-faulted and then lost his second serve.

Heliövaara nailed the win by keeping his own serves easily.

Heliovaara, 37, and Patten, 30, are the world’s number one players in doubles.

They are the number one ranked pair in the Wimbledon tournament.

Kiger and Trhac were unplaced.
