Lazio and Polymarket are one step away from terminating their contracts with compensation.

Lazio and Polymarket are working towards a mutually agreed-upon resolution of their relationship, which, according to Adnkronos, will be concluded in the next few hours.

After the platform was blacklisted by the Customs and Monopolies Agency, which equates its service to that of a betting operator unauthorized to operate on the Italian market, it was likely an inevitable outcome, one that would result in reputational damage. However, it may not result in financial loss, given that, according to leaks, Polymarket could pay compensation to the Biancoceleste club covering more than one season of the contract, even without displaying its brand.
